You can prepay and receive an extra month for free but they offer an affordable hosting account for only $1.99 per month. Of course they offer larger hosting accounts for slightly more every month.

The account is big enough for most people with a slightly larger than usually 1500MB and tons of bandwidth at 20GB. Note that we have hosted over 5 Wordpress blogs at Lacehost for about two years and we have never come close to using anywhere here that amount of traffic and we still have plenty of disk space available.
